Vendor directory
Evidence and neutrality policy.
The directory is a research starting point for biopharma teams. These are the rules we follow so that you can judge how much weight to give it.
Who we work for
Biopharma buyers, not providers
ArgusBio’s business is helping emerging biopharma companies source specialized service providers. Our clients are the companies doing the buying.
- Providers do not pay to be listed, and there are no listing fees or premium profiles.
- Providers cannot pay for placement, ranking, recommendation or removal of accurate information.
- ArgusBio does not take referral commissions from providers.
- A listing is informational. It is not an endorsement, qualification or recommendation.
What is included
Selected for relevance and documentation, not size
We start with providers that appear relevant to a category and research them from public sources. A profile is published only when its capabilities can be documented and at least three material facts are supported by sources we have retrieved and reviewed. Coverage is deliberately incomplete; absence from the directory says nothing about a provider.
How claims are sourced
Every capability is tied to a source
Each listed capability, location or quality statement is linked to the public page it came from, with the date we retrieved and last checked it. A check confirms that the page was still available and still contained the cited statement; it is not verification of the provider or its capabilities. We distinguish:
- Vendor-reported: stated in the provider’s own materials, usually its website. Most of the directory is in this class.
- Third-party source: stated in independent publications or announcements.
- Public record: from official registers or regulator databases.
We do not publish inferences. If our reviewed sources do not establish something, the profile says “Not established from reviewed sources”. That is never a statement that the provider lacks the capability.
How records are reviewed
Software proposes, review decides
Our research tools collect public pages from provider websites, respecting robots.txt and never accessing anything behind a login. Software proposes candidate capabilities from that text. Every candidate is then accepted or rejected in an editorial review, and each accepted claim must quote a passage that our tooling confirms appears on the cited page.
Review of public documentation is not a supplier audit. ArgusBio has not inspected providers’ facilities, quality systems or data, and the directory does not contain ratings, reviews or performance scores.
Descriptions are written by ArgusBio from the documented facts. We do not copy providers’ marketing text or use their logos.
Freshness
Sources are re-checked
We periodically re-check cited pages. When a page disappears or changes, the affected claims are flagged for review before anything public is changed, and claims whose sources no longer support them are withdrawn. Each profile shows when it was last reviewed.
Corrections
Providers and readers can request corrections
If a profile is inaccurate or out of date, email founder@argusbio.ai with the profile address and a public source supporting the change. Requests are reviewed against public evidence before publication; we do not publish unsupported claims at a provider’s request.
Your searches
What we record
Searching and comparing require no account. We record aggregate usage, such as which recognized service terms are searched and how many results appear, to decide which categories to expand. We do not store the text you type, and we do not use cookies or identifiers for this. Browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are not counted. See the privacy notice.
