Privacy notice
This notice describes how ArgusBio LLC handles information when you visit our website, correspond with us or use the private workspace.

Website visitors
The public ArgusBio website does not ask you to create an account, does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not include a contact form. Our hosting provider processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, browser information and request times, to deliver and secure the site.
Vendor directory and sourcing guides
Searching, filtering and comparing providers in the directory, and reading the guides, require no account. To learn which parts are useful, the site records aggregate usage events, such as a page or profile being viewed, which recognized service terms a search matched, how many results it returned and which filters were used. The words you type into the search box are not stored; an event records only how many words were not recognized. These events contain no cookies, account identifiers, IP addresses or browser details, are timestamped to the minute, and are not sent by browsers that signal Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
On the public pages of argusbio.ai (not in the private workspace), we also use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and the same directory interactions. It sets no cookies. Vercel records the page path, referrer, approximate location (country, region and city derived from the request), and browser, operating system and device type, and distinguishes visits using a hash of request data that is discarded after 24 hours. We remove the query string from every page address before it is sent, so search text and selections in the address bar are never included, and the interaction events carry only the same recognized terms, category, guide or profile names and counts described above. ArgusBio sees aggregate reports, which Vercel keeps for up to 12 months. Browsers that signal Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control do not load it.
Provider profiles are built from publicly available information about companies, mainly their own websites, and link to those sources. Providers can request corrections by email.
Email and business correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use it to respond and to continue the conversation you started.
We may contact professionals at life sciences companies about our services using business contact information, such as name, role, company and work email address, obtained from public professional sources. We use it only for that business correspondence. You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you; we will record the request so you are not contacted again, and you can ask what information we hold about you or ask us to delete it.
Sourcing clients and service providers
If you are a biotech client, the project information you share with us, such as the services you need, timelines and requirements, is used to run your sourcing process. It is shared with vendors only as you authorize.
To support sourcing, we research publicly available information about life sciences service providers, such as their services, capabilities and locations, and business contact details for their representatives. When a provider responds to a request for proposal that a client has authorized, we receive the proposal and related correspondence and share them with that client. We do not sell this information.
Invited workspace accounts
ArgusBio operates a private research workspace for invited users. Sign-in uses your email address through Supabase Auth with a sign-in link rather than a password. Research requests made in the workspace, the public sources retrieved for them and the resulting reports are stored with the account. Research requests and public source text are sent to our AI model provider to prepare reports; account details are not.
Earlier saved selections
Earlier versions of ArgusBio let signed-in users save watches on companies, drugs, indications or catalysts, follow clinical hypotheses, and record visit timestamps for a return-user briefing. Those features are retired. Records already saved are retained, not used for new features, and can be deleted on request.
Cookies and browser storage
Signing in to the private workspace uses cookies to maintain and refresh your session. Earlier versions of the app stored a watchlist in browser localStorage; it remains in your browser until cleared.
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser. Clearing them may sign you out or remove locally saved selections; it does not delete account records.
Service providers and technical data
ArgusBio uses Vercel for website and application hosting, Google Workspace for email, Supabase for authentication and database services, and OpenAI as the AI model provider for workspace research. These services process information needed to deliver and operate ArgusBio. Technical request and diagnostic data may include IP addresses, browser information, request times and errors, depending on provider configuration.
Links to third-party source documents take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Security and retention
The workspace uses authenticated access and database access controls for account data and research records. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Account records, correspondence and research records are stored to support your use of the service. Retention can depend on operational needs and service-provider settings, including backups and logs. Contact us with questions about retention or to request account or data deletion; we do not promise an automatic deletion schedule.
Privacy requests and updates
Contact founder@argusbio.ai with privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete your information. We may need to verify that a request relates to your account.
We may update this notice as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
